Bobbing Fishing

This is a fishing game proof of concept I made in 2022.

Navigate to the spot you want to fish in and fish repeatedly to catch all the fish. You fish at the tile the arrow points towards.

Fish you can find in each tile are based on the surrounding tiles. The more you successfully fish in the same tile consecutively you count up a fishing chain, and the higher the fishing chain the higher the chance you get a increased rarity fish or a fish you have not caught yet.

There are common, uncommon and rare fish.

Since this is a proof of concept UI is limited to text in the top left corner.

Controls:

• WASD to move and rotate the boat.
• X or L to start fishing & to pull on the fishing rod.
• Esc closes the game
